Fresh British Goats Milk

The milk is 100% British and is sourced from St Helen's Farm and eleven other family goat farms located in Yorkshire and the Midlands. It has a deliciously mild taste and many say it appears much lighter milk than cows’ milk and is less cloying.
People who have never tasted our milk before, or who have drunk milk direct from the goat, often expect the milk will have a strong ‘goaty’ flavour. With St Helen’s Farm goats’ milk, nothing could be further from the truth.
Because we feed our goats a nutritionally balanced high fibre diet, and take great care with how we handle and process the milk, it has a very mild taste. Many of our customers say they can’t detect any difference between goats’ and cows’ milk, except to say that goats’ milk tastes refreshingly light and creamy.
Goats’ milk is just as versatile as cows’ milk and can be used in hot drinks, cereals and cooking with great results. St Helen’s Farm pasteurised goats’ milk is available either as whole, semi-skimmed or skimmed in 1Litre size cartons. Whole has 3.6% fat and semi-skimmed has 1.6%, whilst skimmed is virtually fat free at just 01% fat. This is about the same level of fat as you would find in equivalent cows’ milk.
