Tractors to Africa

We are delighted to support the Jacob’s Well Appeal by donating a tractor in aid of one of their many agricultural projects in Burkina Faso. Farming equipment is vital in helping communities to cultivate more land for growing crops. In conjunction with the charity’s seed project, it means output can increase massively and really helps to increase levels of food production.
Over the years, Angus Wielkopolski, the founder of St Helen’s Farm, has been actively locating and donating tractors to the charity and the latest Massey Ferguson tractor will be shipped out in the next few months and follows at least five others that have found their way to Ghana and Burkina.
Changing the world one life at a time is the philosophy followed by the Jacob’s Well charity in Beverley in east Yorkshire and they originally began life in 1984 by sending medicines and equipment abroad to regions that were in desperate need of medical support.
