Supporting our community

Community is not just a word but an ethos: An ethos of serving our community of ardent fans, ensuring that they can both find and enjoy our deliciously gentle goats' milk products; a philosophy of supporting British family farmers who share our commitment to animal welfare; and an ethos that builds and supports the future prosperity of our local and international community.

All profits from St Helen's Farm go to good causes. We believe that by investing in our community, we can build a brighter future for all.

The early days

In 1986 when we began supplying goats' milk up and down the UK, we knew that there was a better way - a better milk. An alternative for consumers to enjoy natural dairy goodness without compromising on taste. We looked to nature, where we found milk bursting with vitamins and minerals, packed with prebiotics and slightly lower in lactose.

In those days, our community of goats' milk lovers could only buy from individual farms, and supermarkets concentrated on cows' milk products, making it challenging to buy. We received incredible demand following the launch of our natural nutritious and famously gentle milk. It spurred us to ensure that every home in the country could enjoy the gentle wonders of goats' milk.

Animal welfare, a shared commitment

The family farms we source our milk from all share our long-held philosophy of maintaining the highest levels of animal welfare where they care for and maintain their community of goats that supply us with delicious milk.

We're proud to be recognised for our commitment to animal welfare and affirmed with Red Tractor's Goat Farmers Dairy Farm Assurance certification.

A unique ownership supporting good causes

St Helen's Farm has been owned by a charitable trust since 2013. Since then, we've worked hard to build and support the future prosperity of our local and international community. Not many people know that any profits that aren't reinvested into the business, go to good causes.

We love it here in Yorkshire. We believe that by investing in our community, we can build a brighter future for all.

Supporting British farmers

We've been supporting British farmers for more than 30 years.

We support family farms here in the UK. It's home to the most naturally delicious and nutritious goats' milk in the world, why wouldn't we want to play our part in keeping it that way?
